Where Good Ideas Come From
- Do your art ideas come to you in a slow hunch or a flash of inspiration?
- How much do other peoples ideas (from a critique, the internet, looking at other artists’ work) affect your artmaking?
- There are other times when artists hung out together (De Kooning/Pollack/etc) and exchanged ideas. Bands in certain subcultures do this. THey all know each other and influence each other. Can you think of examples of this? How is art and music different from each other in terms of how it is created?
- Which websites help your creativity the most? Which hurt your creativity?
