These photos by Daniel Stoupin are extremely fascinating to me. I chose to do my weekly extra on his work because it combines my two favorite subjects, photography and science. I have always dreamed of being a marine biologist or national geographic photographer. This work by Stoupin exemplifies both of those careers.  I find it amazing that he combined over 1,500 images of coral reefs to create this slightly surreal effect. Also, the colors in the pictures are so vibrant and they combine together beautifully. Although this doesn’t quite relate to my current work in photo class, I would like to be able to take photos like this one day.
