I like Study of a Young Woman by Johannes Vermeer. I chose that as the painting to base my work off of. I’d attach what I made, but it’s three and a half gigabytes. I re-cut The Godfather Part II into my own version. I cut out about an hour and a half of unnecessary footage, added some new score, messed with the order, and added some filters. The result is my take on the movie if it was supposed to resemble the painting. It is a focused character study of Micheal (played by Al Pacino before he sucked). My cut is a mental epic. There are usually words instead of violence. With the exception of the final scene, all the nostalgia is verbal instead of visual. If you feel like sitting through it, it’s in the photo three folder.
