The author of this article is Maria A. Artisduo and she wrote that she has a huge background in art. She stated that her love for art and coffee has resulted in her new coffee painting idea. She explained that her first image was actually an accident. She uses different coffee blends and water paint paper to create her artwork.
I thought her artwork in general was absolutely stunning and her use of coffee instead of paint makes each image even more unique! She paints her favorite characters from movies and TV shows. Since all of her paintings are brown, it ties them all together in a way, but also giving them a special look.
One of my favorite images is “Mother of Dragons” which is of a character from Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones is one of my favorite TV shows and I haven’t seen a lot of artwork regarding the show. I was surprised at first when I saw this painting because I never see art regarding the TV show. Also in this photograph of her painting she showed her paintbrushes and coffee mug with coffee in it. I was able to see that she uses simple objects (brushes and coffee) to create these amazing pieces of art. This article showed me that art can be made from the smallest and most simple things and you don’t need to have expensive art materials to create inspiring art!
