Weekly Extra – Flowers Frozen In Ice

By on 12/11/2014

Photographs that resemble paintings have to be some of my favorite types of photographs. The style of the photographs are always so elegant, and the photo flows together in a unique way. Although not always as crisp as I typically like photos, photographs that look like a watercolor painting don’t need the crispness other photos need to look nice/a good photograph.
The photos taken by Kenji Shibata not only show beautiful photographs that resemble paintings, but also give a contrast between preservation and fading away. The flowers that have been melted out of the ice appearing to be wilting and fading away, which contrast with the beautiful and lively looking preserved flowers still in the ice.
