After looking at some of Liliana Gelman’s work, I have been inspired to create works of art that actually interest me. I really like how she chooses to have her photographs be in black and white. In the first photograph, I really like how the tree branches move your eyes across the picture and how the black and white makes the photograph less distracting. In the second photograph, I really like the simplicity in the photo and the use of negative and positive space. Liliana Gelman has inspired me to think about taking photographs in black and white and to think about the negative and positive space in the image.
