I decided to write my weekly extra on these pictures because for the past quarter, I have been focusing my work on dance and movement. These photos use white dust and a female dancer to create intriguing poses and shapes. As a dancer myself, I appreciate the frozen motion images because they show the strength and beauty that dance requires. In my own work, I would like to be able to create action shots like these that really capture movement. I find this photographers work to be captivating and well-designed. I would love to be able to try something like this myself.
