These photos, taken by Russian photographer Katerina Plotnikova, inspire me to take more photos that incorporate nature. The pictures that she took capture the relationship between women, animals, and the outdoors. However, they still have a somewhat surreal feeling about them. I would like to be able to create this mood in my own photos. Last year, I did a lot of work that included outdoor scenery and costumes similar to the ones in Plotnikova’s pictures. If I were ever to start this project again, I would love to capture the mysterious, surreal feeling in these photos.
